The Northwoods League Traverse City Pit Spitters have suspended their 2020 season after several players have tested positive for COVID-19. The squad is scheduled to be suspended through July 10th when they hope to restart the season according to the MLive.com. The Traverse City area was among the first in Michigan to reopen before Memorial Day but since there has been eight local establishments which could have been exposure sites.
