The New England Collegiate Conference is currently running features on seniors who had their season cut short from the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, they featured Becker College senior infielder/outfielder Mike McMahon.
During this time you start to realize that although you are going to miss the game itself tremendously… it is everything that comes along with being a student-athlete that you will miss the most. I will miss my teammates, my coaches, my trainers, my fellow classmates, my advisors, my athletic department, and everyone else at Becker College that made this time so special. Whether it be campus involvements (such as SAAC, Special Olympics and other clubs/activities) or the culture formed by Becker, community involvement is something that will very be difficult to walk away from.
