Right-handed pitcher Max Meyer has had two good seasons for Minnesota and makes our list at 19.
In 2018 he posted a 2.03 ERA in 26 games with 54 strikeouts in 43.2 innings with 16 saves and a WHIP of 0.87.
He moved into the starting rotation in his sophomore year making 11 starts and 5 relief appearances with a 2.11 ERA in 76.2 innings with 87 strikeouts and a 1.02 WHIP.
Meyer also hit .256 in 2019 with a .323 OBP and a home run in 121 at-ats, but his future is as a pitcher.
In the summer he spent some time with the USA Collegiate National team.
The right-hander is a fastball, slider, change-up guy who may profile better as a closer at the next level.
But his command is elite and hitters have time squaring up his pitches as he’s allowed just 83 hits in 121 college innings.
