The shortstop was taken by the New York Yankees in the 32nd round of the 2017 MLB Draft.
As a freshman in 2018 he hit .280/.333 with 23 runs scored, 8 doubles, and 20 RBI in 55 games.
That summer he played 15 games in the Cape Cod League and hit .245/.309 with 8 runs, 1 home run, and 6 RBI.
And then he broke out in his sophomore season hitting .333.429 with the Sun Devils scoring 54 runs and driving in 53 with 12 doubles and 4 home runs.
This past summer he hit .286 in just 35 at-bats in the Cape while also competing with the USA Collegiate Team.
The 6-foot-2 shortstop is very good defensively as well being named to the 2019 Pac-12 All-Defensive Team.
