Despite a disappointing sophomore campaign, Texas A&M outfielder Zach DeLoach had a big summer and elevated his draft stock.
As a freshman with the Aggies in 2018 he hit .260/.351 with 37 runs scored, 10 doubles, 5 triples, 2 home runs, and 27 RBI.

That summer he blew up in the Northwoods League hitting .323/.409 with 38 runs scored, 17 doubles, 5 home runs, and 38 RBI.
But he didn’t carry that over into his sophomore season with Texas A&M hitting just .200/.318 with 27 runs scored, 4 doubles, 3 home runs, and 16 RBI.
However, this past summer he showed what he’s capable of by leading the Cape Cod League with a .353 average to go along with a .428 OBP, 22 runs scored, 8 doubles, 5 home runs, and 23 RBI in 37 games.
If the left-handed hitter can finally carry his summer success into the spring, he’ll be a top draft pick in June.
