A former 14th round pick by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2017 MLB Draft, Gage Workman finds himself at 35 in our countdown.

In his freshman season at Arizona State he hit .276/.339 with 27 runs scored, 10 doubles, 7 triples, 3 home runs, and 25 RBI.

That summer he hit just.163/.241 in 39 Cape Cod League games with 3 home runs.

He had a breakout season as a sophomore hitting .330/.413 with 40 runs scored, 11 doubles, 4 triples, 8 home runs, and 42 RBI.

Workman went back to the Cape this past summer and did much better hitting .266/.321 with 19 runs scored, 5 doubles, 4 triples, 1 home run, and 20 RBI in 43 games.

The switch-hitting infielder has very quick hands and a really good frame to stick on the left side of the infield at the next level.

There is potential for him to put up bigger power numbers as he fills out that frame.
