Tennessee outfielder Alerick Soularie comes in at 41 on our Top 100 Countdown.
Soularie started his college career at San Jacinto where he hit .402 with 62 runs scored, 17 doubles, 8 triples, 10 home runs, 47 RBI, and 23 stolen bases.
It would be hard to repeat those numbers after moving to the SEC, but they didn’t fall that far.
In 2019 he hit .357 with a .466 OBP to go along with 52 runs scored, 13 doubles, 11 home runs, 46 RBI, and 8 stolen bases.
This past summer he went to the Cape Cod League and didn’t quite have the same success hitting just .207 with 1 home runs in 29 at-bats.
Despite what he did this past summer, if he goes back out and puts up those same numbers with Tennessee as a junior he’ll be one of the top outfield bats taken in the 2020 MLB Draft.
