One of my favorite pitchers to watch during the 2019 season was Clemson freshman Davis Sharpe.
He really stepped up for the Tigers this past season making 14 starts and posting a 3.20 ERA in 84 innings with 84 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.11.

But not only did he get it done on the mound, he hit .264 at the plate with 3 home runs in 129 at-bats.
Sharpe was taken in the 34th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates as a third baseman.
We’ll see what Clemson decides to do with him in 2020, but at the very least he looks like a stud starting pitcher.
