Our countdown continues with Florida State outfielder Reese Albert.

Albert hit .268 as a freshman in 2018 with 25 runs scored, 8 doubles, 7 home runs, and 34 RBI in 157 at-bats.

That summer he played in the Cape Cod League and hit .277 with a pair of home runs in 83 at-bats.

He was only able to play 43 games in his sophomore season at Florida State but showed dramatic improvement by hitting .299 with a .406 OBP to go along with 33 runs scored, 6 doubles, 9 home runs, 35 RBI, and a .958 OPS in 154 at-bats.

Despite only playing in 43 games he was named a Third-Team All-ACC player after the 2019 season.

If Albert can stay healthy in his junior season I think we’re going to see him put up some big numbers and boost his draft stock significantly.
