Another catcher coming off a great freshman season makes our list in Memphis’ Hunter Goodman.
As a freshman in 2019 he hit .326 with 51 runs scored, 16 doubles, 13 home runs, 67 RBI, 11 stolen bases, and a .367 OBP.
He was named the Newcomer of the Year in the AAC and was a Freshman All-American by several different outlets.

In the summer Goodman played in the Cape Cod League and hit .276 with 8 home runs and 37 RBI in 156 at-bats.
He’ll need to really work on his plate discipline as he struck out 45 times and walked just 3 times in the Cape with an OBP of just .291.
But the power is for real, and if he can stick behind the plate he’ll be one of the top catchers in his draft.
