Arkansas pitcher Connor Noland is another player coming off a solid freshman season that we are expecting big things from in 2020.
As a freshman with the Razorbacks in 2019 he posted a 4.02 ERA in 20 games (19 starts)with 55 strikeouts in 78.1 innings.
He was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team and was a Perfect Game Second Team Freshman All-American.
In the fall of 2018 Noland played in four games for the Arkansas football team at quarterback, but this past summer he decided to make baseball his primary focus going forward.
That’s great news for the Arkansas baseball team as Noland should be a big part of their weekend rotation in 2020.
Noland and Patrick Wicklander threw the bulk of the innings in the Razorbacks’ two fall exhibition games and will look to lead the starting rotation.
