Number 84 on our CBD Top 100 Countdown is Central Connecticut State University infielder Terry “TT” Bowens.
In his freshman season a CCSU he played in 46 games and hit .279 with 6 home runs, 7 doubles, and 3 triples. Bowens was also the MVP of the Northeast Conference Tournament where he hit .636 in three games.
He only played in 6 games in 2018 and missed the beginning of the 2019 season. But he went on to hit .376 this past Spring with a .459 OBP to go along with 26 runs scored, 5 home runs, 26 RBI, and 12 doubles in 125 at-bats.
The first baseman was named a 2nd Team All-Northeast Conference player and was named to the NEC All-Tournament Team after hitting this bomb.
The left-fielder doesn't need to move for this one❗️

And then he drove in all 5 runs for CCSU in their regional opener against Arkansas, so he’s quickly earning a reputation for coming through on a big stage.
He was named the NECBL Player of the Year this past summer after hitting .331 in 160 at-bats with 16 home runs and 53 RBI setting himself for a big redshirt junior season in 2020.
