It has been quite the journey for number 87 on our list as Tristan Peterson has played for three different colleges in three years after suiting up with New Mexico State for the 2019 season.
He began his college career at Kanas State where he got just 10 at-bats his freshman season.
Peterson then transferred to Howard College and hit .358 in 95 at-bats with 27 runs scored and 3 home runs to go along with a .413 OBP.
In a very potent New Mexico State offense he hit .400 during the 2019 season scoring 69 runs with 10 doubles, 20 home runs, and 90 RBI and ridiculous OBP of .510.
This past summer he played in the Northwoods League and hit .272 in 268 at-bats with 44 runs scored, 15 doubles, 8 home runs, and 38 RBI.
There is no question the New Mexico State outfielder has a big bat and advanced approach at the plate.
But scouts are going to want to see him duplicate his junior success before drafting him.
