Florida Atlantic third baseman Jared DeSantolo is a name that you’ll want to keep an eye on in 2020 as his stock continues to rise.
As a freshman in 2018 he hit .342 for the Owls with 4 home runs and 24 RBI in just 117 at-bats.
That following summer he hit .293 in the Perfect Game League with 27 runs scored and 7 doubles in 133 at-bats.
During his sophomore season with FAU he was limited to just 104 at-bats but hit .298 with a couple of home runs.
And then he went to the Cape Cod League this past summer and put on a show by hitting .301 with a .410 OBP in 113 at-bats, and he showed some good power by hitting 4 home runs.
It’s pretty clear from the video below that DeSantolo has some pop in his swing.

We just need to see him do it on a more consisent basis during his junior season.
There is no question that he can hit for average, but if he can add some more power his stock will sky rocket.
