Moving along in our countdown we come to Texas Tech shortstop Dylan Neuse at 95.
Neuse spent his freshman season at McLennan CC where he hit .333 with a .949 OPS to go along with 8 home runs, 61 runs, 7 doubles, 7 triples, and 19 stolen bases.
At Texas Tech this past Spring he hit .307 with 55 runs, 12 doubles, 8 home runs, 51 RBI, and 17 stolen bases.
With the Red Raiders he continued to put up impressive numbers with a .418 OBP and .936 OPS.
That earned him an invite to play in the Cape Cod League this past summer where he didn’t quite have the best summer.
At the Cape he hit just .197 with a .315 OBP, but he did score 12 runs, hit 2 home runs, drive in 10, and steal 6 bases in just 76 at-bats.
Neuse has some swing-and-miss in his game, but he also has a great eye at the plate with 72 walks to 97 strikeouts in his two college seasons.
If he can continue to hit for average and power with his speed, those are tools MLB scouts will drool over.
