PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Head coach Grant Achilles of the Brown baseball program has announced the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2020 season.
Brown will play a 40-game schedule in 2020, including 11 home games at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium.
Brown will kick off the season with four games in Spartanburg, South Carolina (Feb. 21-23), playing Presbyterian, Wofford and host USC-Upstate. The Bears then head to North Carolina the following weekend for another four-game weekend against Sacred Heart, Wake Forest and La Salle.
After a four-game series at Kennesaw State (March 6-8), the Bears will host Northeastern on Friday, March 13 in the home opener, before playing Holy Cross (March 14) and Northeastern (March 15) in Boston.
The Bears open the Ivy League season at Yale (March 21-22) before playing Bryant in a home-and-home midweek set in Providence and Smithfield, respectively. Brown will then host Columbia in league action (March 28-29) to wrap up the month of March.
After a road series at Penn (April 4-5) and a single game at Rhode Island, the Bears return to Providence for a three-game series against Cornell, before heading back out the following weekend at Dartmouth.
Brown will entertain Princeton on April 25-26 to complete the home part of the schedule. After a single game at Boston College, the Bears will wrap up the regular season at Harvard (May 2-3) against the reigning league champions.
