LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University Baseball Head Coach Barry Davis has announced his team’s schedule for the upcoming 2020 spring campaign. During the year, the Broncs will take a pair of trips to Charleston, South Carolina and take on regional rivals Princeton, Rutgers, Seton Hall, La Salle and NJIT as well another challenging Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) slate.
“We have another strong schedule to begin the season and believe these are the types of games to prepare a team for our conference season,” Davis said. “The addition of 16 new players will also add some intrigue and curiosity on what type of team we can put on the field.”
The Broncs return their top-four starting pitchers from last season and the team has brought on a bevy of arms to compete for different role on the squad as well. Rider also brings back a handful of contributors at the plate and in the field.
