We finally have some shake-up at the top with some of the best teams stepping up the competition that they’re playing. Here is out top 40 after three weekends of college baseball. As always, your best location for betting on sports is BestSportsBook.co.

  1. Vanderbilt (9-2): They did not exactly get tested in week three, but the pitching was dominant only giving up four runs all weekend to Dayton. The offense will score, and the pitching is as good as they were this weekend when SEC play starts, they could become the dominant team we thought they could be.

  2. UCLA (9-2): The pitching has been better than I thought, but the offense hasn’t been nearly as powerful as expected.

  3. North Carolina (11-1): The starting rotation for the Tar Heels has a lot of talent and experience.

  4. Oregon State (10-1): I really just love the consistency of this team. The pitching gave up two runs in every game this weekend, but they failed to score in the finale game and suffered their first lost.

  5. Arkansas (9-1): If Isaiah Campbell pitches like he did on Friday, the Razorbacks chances of reaching Omaha again this season go up tremendously.

  6. LSU (8-3) – You had to wonder if some of thoe close games against lesser competition was a sign of things to come. LSU certainly didn’t impress against a higher level of competition. While this team is talented, they have some glaring weaknesses in the starting rotation.

  7. Louisville (8-3): The offense still needs to pick things up, but the pitching was lights out against James Madison allowing just one run all weekend.

  8. Texas Tech (6-3): It was not a great weekend to say the least for Texas Tech losing to Nebraska and Mississippi State, while only scoring three runs combined.

  9. Florida (9-4): The offense finally broke out against Winthrop scoring 44 runs in the first two games.

  10. Florida State (10-0): They still haven’t played a team that is expected to be in the NCAA Tournament this year, but they’re winning games, which is what you’re supposed to do.

  11. Mississippi State (10-1): What a seven day stretch for Mississippi State with wins over Southern Miss, Southeastern Louisiana, Sam Houston State, and Texas Tech.

  12. Baylor (9-2): A dramatic win on Sunday helped the Bears avoid a disastrous weekend.

  13. Georgia (9-2): The offense was up-and-down last week getting two-hit by LIU Brooklyn in a loss, and then scoring just seven runs combined in their first two games against Georgia Southern (they won both games though).

  14. South Carolina (9-2): It was a shaky start to the season for the Gamecocks, but a huge weekend series win over Clemson puts them in the thick of things.

  15. Clemson (8-3): The Tigers are fine, but that 14-3 beatdown on Sunday was concerning. Finding that third starter will be key this season.

  16. NC State (11-0): I had almost given up on the Wolfpack Sunday but they scored three in the ninth against Minnesota to stay undefeated.

  17. Stanford (9-2): Stanford has gotten off to a surprisingly really good start. The pitching has been really good, as expected, but how far they go will depend on that young offense.

  18. Texas (9-3): By far the most impressive sweep of the season as Texas came back on Sunday to finish off LSU. The most impressive team in college baseball this year based on what they lost from 2018.

  19. Ole Miss (8-2): Thomas Dillard had an exciting walk-off home run over the weekend to help Ole Miss sweep Long Beach State in Oxford.

  20. Auburn (9-2): I know Casey Mize was the number one overall pick last year, but watch out for Tanner Burns. He pitched a complete game, two-hit shutout on Friday with 15 strikeouts against Cincinnati.

  21. Michigan (8-1)

  22. Coastal Carolina (10-2)

  23. Duke (9-2)

  24. Georgia Tech (7-4)

  25. Texas A&M (11-2)

  26. Tennessee (12-0)

  27. East Carolina (8-4)

  28. Southern Miss (4-5)

  29. UConn (5-5)
