Another Florida pitcher that is could go in the first round is right-hander Tyler Dyson.
He was huge for the Gators as a freshman when they won the College World Series posting a 3.23 ERA in 39 innings pitched with 47 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.03.
That summer he posted a 1.59 ERA over 28.1 innings pitched with 29 strikeouts and a 1.00 WHIP in the Northwoods League.
Dyson has struggled with injuries through his first two seasons, and that helped increase his ERA to 4.47 in 2018 over 50 innings pitched with 51 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.55.
He looked really good in the Cape this past summer with a 2.37 ERA in 19 innings pitched with 23 strikeouts and a 1.11 WHIP.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound right-handed pitcher has three solid pitches and can get up to 95 on his fastball.
Scouts know that Dyson has the stuff to be a high draft pick, but hopefully this is the year he can throw a lot of innings and show some durability.
