Arizona State’s Spencer Torkelson became one of the premier power hitters in the country after just one season.
As a freshman in 2018 with the Sun Devils he hit .320 over 206 at-bats with 59 runs scored, 12 doubles, 25 home runs, 53 RBI, and a .440 on-base percentage.
He solidified that success in the summer as he hit .333 in the Cape Cod League over 81 at-bats with 18 runs scored, 9 doubles, 7 home runs, 25 RBI, and a .472 on-base percentage.
The right-handed first baseman/outfielder enters his sophomore season looking to continue that success even further.
