Another big left-handed pitcher on this list is Graeme Stinson for Duke who had a huge sophomore season to put himself on the map.
As a freshman in 2017 he posted an ERA of 6.67 in 28 innings pitched with 45 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.27. Obviously, that ERA did not match his other numbers.
That summer he continued to impress by striking out 32 batters in 18.1 innings in the Cape Cod League with an ERA of 2.45.
That success continued into the spring of 2018 when he posted an ERA of 1.89 in 62 innings pitched — mostly out of the bullpen — with 98 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.00.
This past summer he tossed five scoreless innings in the Cape Cod League with 12 strikeouts. He also pitched for the US Collegiate National team.
Clearly, he has some of the best stuff in the country with those strikeout totals. It’s not clear if he can sustain that success as a starter, but he would still be a high draft pick as a reliever with those numbers.
