In 2017 he got just 39 at-bats for Stanford and hit just .103. That summer in the West Coast League he hit .311 over 119 at-bats with 24 runs scored, 7 home runs, 26 RBI, and an on-base percentage of .423.
As a sophomore in 2018 he hit .286 with Stanford with 39 runs scored, 10 doubles, 10 home runs, 42 RBI, and a .383 on-base percentage.
He took that success into the Cape Cod League where he hit .326 in 138 at-bats with 29 runs scored, 13 doubles, 6 home runs, 24 RBI, and a .361 on-base percentage.
The big left-handed hitter has turned himself into one of the best power hitters in the country.
