UConn has produced a lot of good talent over the past couple of years, and left-handed pitcher Mason Feole is no exception.
As a freshman in 2017 he posted a 3.37 ERA in 82.2 innings pitched with 75 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.31.
In the Cape Cod League that summer he had a 4.94 ERA in 23.2 innings pitched with 24 strikeouts and a 1.68 WHIP.
He threw over 100 innings as a sophomore with an ERA of 2.50 and 120 strikeouts to go along with a WHIP of 1.30.
Feole threw just seven innings in the Cape this past summer, while splitting time with the US Collegiate National team.
A bit of an awkward windup for the lefty that makes you think his future at the next level is as a reliever.
However, he’s shown that he has the repertoire and stability to throw a lot of innings.
