SEATTLE – The complete schedule for the 10th season of Seattle University Redhawk baseball has been released, including 27 total home games, key regional rivalries and three 2018 NCAA Tournament qualifiers.
“We are excited about this year’s schedule with tough road trips early in the year to get us ready for what may be the most difficult WAC schedule since we joined,” said Head Coach Donny Harrel as he enters his 10th season at the helm of the program.
The Redhawks open 2019 on the road with a three-game series at UNLV (Feb. 15-17) of the Mountain West Conference. They return home to open play at Bannerwood Park with a four-game series against Omaha on Feb. 22-24 before heading back on the road for a four-game set at Pacific (Mar. 1-3).
A Five-game home stint includes the first of two meetings with 2018 College World Series participant Washington (Mar. 5), followed by a series with UT Arlington (Mar. 7-9) and a single game against Minnesota (Mar. 11).
The Redhawks head back on the road once more to wrap up the bulk of their non-conference slate, facing Pacific Northwest rival Portland on Mar. 13, followed by three games at 2018 NCAA Tournament qualifier San Diego State (Mar. 15-17).
“Pacific and San Diego State will both provide quality competitive that will help us see where we are at with our young team,” Harrel said.
WAC play begins at home March 22-24 as the Redhawks welcome Utah Valley to Bannerwood Park. Seattle U will also host the conference’s newest member California Baptist (Apr. 5-7), Sacramento State (Apr. 12-14), Chicago State (May 3-5) and reigning WAC Tournament champion New Mexico State (May 10-12).
Road series in WAC play will take the Redhawks to CSU Bakersfield (Mar. 29-31), Grand Canyon (Apr. 18-20), UTRGV (Apr. 26-28) and Northern Colorado (May 16-18).
The Redhawks will also have midweek non-conference games at Pac-12 members Washington State (Apr. 9), Arizona State (Apr. 16) and Washington (Apr. 30).
“Playing at ASU and WSU is always tough and now that UW is coming off their trip to the College World Series, we really have exciting games and quality competition all throughout the year,” Harrel said.

Multiple ticket plan options are available, including an individual season-ticket for just $70, which includes access to the Redhawks’ 27-game home slate. New this spring is a family pack of season tickets for as low as $30 per person. The family plan includes a minimum purchase of four season tickets for a total of $120.
