College of Charleston Athletic Director Matt Roberts has been accused by former College of Charleston baseball coach Matt Heath of deleting text messages and conversations with Chad Holbrook when Heath was the head coach of the Cougars program and Holbrook was still coaching the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Heath has stated in the past he was fired without cause as Roberts was trying to get his friend Chad Holbrook into the head coaching position with the Cougars. If these allegations are true, it makes it pretty clear that the firing of Heath was just a cover to get Holbrook a job.
