One of few true relief pitchers on this countdown, Jack Little proved himself with Stanford last year as one of the best closers in the country.
He only pitched in four games as a freshman and things didn’t go well giving up six runs in 2.1 innings with 4 strikeouts.
Things didn’t go much better in the summer as he had a 5.04 ERA over 25 innings pitched with 30 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.32.
But he couldn’t have been much better as a sophomore for Stanford posting a 0.61 ERA over 44 innings pitched with 56 strikeouts, 15 saves, and a WHIP of 0.74.
He split time this past summer between the Cape Cod League and the USA Collegiate National team.
The 6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher has some nasty offerings and can pile up the strikeout numbers.
