Spencer Brickhouse is one of several East Carolina players you will see on the countdown, and he might be my favorite become of his name alone.

As a freshman in 2017 he hit .310 in 197 at-bats with 36 runs scored, 8 doubles, 10 home runs, 28 RBI, and a .385 on-base percentage.

That summer he hit .276 in the Cape Cod League over 58 at-bats, but went without a home run.

This past spring he hit .298 for East Carolina in 235 at-bats with 49 runs scored, 16 doubles, 10 home runs, 50 RBI, and a .382 on-base percentage.

Brickhouse was named to the American Athletic Conference All-Conference team as a result.

He went back to the Cape this past summer and hit .247 over 150 at-bats with 19 runs scored, 5 doubles, 4 home runs, 26 RBI, and a .333 on-base percentage.

His subpar numbers in the Cape may keep the 6-foot-4 left-handed hitter from being a huge draft prospect, but make no mistake, he’s one of the most dangerous hitters in college baseball.
