This is certainly an upside pick putting Brady McConnell at 78 after playing just nine games last year while dealing with a season-long injury.
But coming out of high school he was ranked as the 29th best high school prospect, and he was compared to Troy Tulowitzki as a five-tool player.
The Cincinnati Reds drafted him in the 33rd round of the 2017 MLB Draft, but he was set on playing at Florida.
As a freshman he began the season as the starting shortstop, which was huge for a team that just won a College World Series title.
Hopefully he’ll be fully healthy this year and we’ll be able to see his talent on full display for the Gators in 2019.
