2.1K A two-way player coming out of high school, Georgia Tech sophomore Xzavion Curry is now a full-time starter for the Yellow Jackets. In 2017 as a freshman he posted a 5.23 ERA in 82.2 innings pitched (15 starts) with 74 strikeouts. He followed that up with a solid sophomore season in which he had a 4.18 ERA in 92.2 innings pitched (15 starts) with 101 strikeouts and a 1.10 WHIP. Xzavion struggled a bit this summer in the Cape with a 10.61 ERA in 9.1 innings pitched with 7 strikeouts. He gives you an over-the-top angle with quick arm action that gets on the hitter quick. At 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, he profiles more as a relief pitcher at the next level. And I honestly think he has the two-pitch mix to be a really good reliever. Hopefully the junior can improve on his ERA and strikeout totals even more this year.
