The former three-time DIII College World Series participant was a four-year starter for Kean University, an All-Conference performer and National Rawlings Gold Glove recipient. Since graduation, Smarslok has served assistant baseball coach positions at Kean, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and Heidelberg University.
Campbell joins the Pirates after a lengthy playing career in both high school and college. A 2018 graduate of Concordia University with a grade point average of 3.68 in Psychology, he brings a strong work ethic and good communication skills to South Orange.
