The Northwoods League has developed into the second best summer league in the country and arguably the best run league. They have 20 teams right now and will expand two more next season with the additions of Hudson, Wisconsin and Kokomo, Indiana including building a ten million dollar ballpark in Hudson. There is no other summer league that can compete financially with the Northwoods and the gap is closing quickly between the Cape League and the Northwoods.
