Texas A&M was probably in the NCAA Tournament before today with an RPI in the top 20, but they wanted to make sure by taking on another high RPI win by beating Georgia 7-0 in the fifth game of the 2018 SEC Baseball Tournament.
Asa Lacy was tremendous on the mound for Texas A&M tossing six shutout innings, while only allowing 3 hits and striking out eight.
Chris Andritsos supplied plenty of run support for the Aggies going 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI on a 3-run home run and solo shot.
With the loss, Georgia’s chances of being a top-eight national seed take a big hit.
