The Columbia Lions picked up a 4-0 victory over Yale at Yale Field on Tuesday afternoon in game 1 of the Ivy League Championship series. Senior right handed pitcher Harrisen Egly went seven shutout innings allowing only four hits while walking two and striking out six batters. Ty Wiest pitched the final two innings without allowing a hit. Leading the offense was Jack Chernow who went 2-3 with a run scored and leadoff hitter Ben Porter went 2-4 with an RBI.
