Knight, Washam and Boggs Join Bulldog Baseball Staff
RUSON, La. – On Friday morning, Louisiana Tech head baseball coach Lane Burroughsannounced that Austin Knight, Jonathan Washam and Marshall Boggs would be joining the Bulldog Baseball staff for the 2018 season.
Knight will come to Ruston as the volunteer assistant coach, replacing Travis Creel who was promoted to the Bulldog hitting coach and recruiting coordinator last week.

Kenneth Crawford has dreamed of this since the day his son died.
Twelve years later, the moment his finally come.
Crawford’s son, Brian, died on April 27, 2005, in a car crash. Since then, it hasn’t been easy for Crawford to think about much else. He has devoted much of his time to raising money to honor Brian through the Brian Crawford Foundation.

Alec Acosta, a former Miami Belen Jesuit Preparatory School and Plantation American Heritage baseball standout, had started 143 college games at Davidson and had hit just one home run.
Meanwhile, the Davidson Wildcats had played baseball in 114 previous seasons and had never made the NCAA tournament.
