Team USA defeats Futures League Prospect Team 6-4

The USA Collegiate National Team defeated the Futures League Prospect Team 6-4 on Tuesday evening at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field in Worcester, Massachusetts. Leading the way was Missouri State’s Jeremy Eierman who drove home two runs while scoring another while Oregon State’s Cadyn Grenier hit a long home run over the centerfield fence.

Pitchers Bryce Tucker of UCF and Ryley Gilliam of Clemson University pitched the eighth and ninth respectively while each striking out two batters while not allowing any baserunners.
