The Hartford Hawks picked up a 6-4 victory over the Quinnipiac Bobcats at the new Dunkin Donuts Park in Hartford, Connecticut which will serve as the home of the Hartford Yard Goats this season. The Hawks were led by outfielder Chris Sullivan who went 2-3 with three RBI. Here are some of the best pics from the game which is currently ongoing as I type this with the Hawks up 4-3 in the fifth inning.
The Hawks received a strong start on the mound from Alex Moconyi who went four innings allowing three hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out four batters. This was the total opposite of Quinnipiac starter Alex Vargas who lasted only 1/3 of an inning while walking five batters allowing only one hit but responsible for allowing three first inning runs.
