Lou Pavlovich of Collegiate Baseball Newspaper published an article today stating that the College World Series ratings were down 25.7 percent and the final game of the season between Coastal Carolina and Arizona was down 73 percent.
Couple of things hurt the ratings this year was the fact that Euro 2016 was going on forcing many of the afternoon CWS games to ESPN 2. They also played the final game of the season in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday while having the game on ESPNU.
