The University of the Incarnate Word has released their 2017 Schedule which features an opening series in San Antonio as part of the Irish Alamo Invitational where they will play St. Louis, Notre Dame, and Lafayette.
After a midweek game against Prairie View A&M, they will welcome in Central Michigan for a four game series over three days.
The following week features a trip to traditional power Texas A&M midweek with Omaha coming in for a three game weekend visit. They finish the pre-conference portion of the schedule when they host Texas Southern and Richmond before heading to Southland Conference foe Abilene Christian.
They will also head to Southland conference members Lamar, Nichols, Northwestern State and Sam Houston State.
The Cardinals will host Central Arkansas, Stephen F. Austin, Houston Baptist, New Orleans, and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
