TCU incoming recruit Drew Medford was killed in a car accident on early Thursday morning when he hit an interstate sign before striking a concrete barrier. He earned all-state honors his senior season and was named MVP of District 4-6A, said his coach, Darrell Preston. Medford also was one of four area pitchers named to the Star-Telegram Super Team.
