The Boston Business Journal writer Catherine Carlock is reporting that on Wednesday, Boston College submitted plans with the Boston Redevelopment Authority for new baseball and softball playing fields, a recreation field and support building in Brighton, a project that’s part of a $200 million athletics complex plan for the college.
As we have reported in the past, Boston College had to get this new facility right (LINK) and looking at the plans in the Boston Business Journal article, it will have 1,000 seats and have NCAA Broadcast ability. It is interesting that BC’s facility will be the smallest in the nation. It will also include 110 parking spots which will be shared with the softball program.
