College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2016 NCAA Tournament with our weekly Regional Projections. These are done as if the teams finished the season on Saturday. As has been the case this year, there is a major disparity towards the south schools due to the weak west coast baseball this season. I do expect the NCAA to force a regional in the Western part of the country due to TV restrictions. You can check out the full brackets below.

Big West finished 1. Fullerton 2. Long Beach 3. Santa Barbara.
Your field has Fullerton as a 3 seed. Long Beach not in the field. Santa Barbara as a 2.
What am I missing?
RPI. And yes, everyone (except maybe the selection committee) knows it is biased against west coast teams.
Per Boyd Nation’s RPI web page as of today: UCSB 24, Fullerton 44, Long Beach 51. Rarely does a 50+ RPI get an at-large berth.
Maybe this is the year the committee ignores RPI… Massey, Sagarin, and ISR all have Long Beach in the 30s. But I’m going to guess the people building the bracket don’t have any faith the committee will.
Santa Barbara finished in a death spiral. LB finished pretty strong. The committee should ignore RPI in this case. The Big West might get only two teams in this year. It wouldn’t shock me.
Whoever wrote this is a dumb ass. I mean, they left out the SEC Champions Mississippi St all together.
You talking about the team that went 1-2 in Hoover with the win over Alabama? Pretty sure Texas A&M won the SEC postseason tournament this year….

SEC regular season champion. Try to keep up Jr.
So you’re gonna leave them completely out bc they didn’t win the SEC Tournament? LOL
Pretty sure they are listed as a regional host against Miami in the Super Regionals.
I must’ve overlooked that than but they will be a National seed
We will see

Yes we will in about an hour and a half from now
And in case you haven’t noticed, I’m not a Mississippi St fan.
But you still show Florida winning the SEC. the conference tournament is the automatic bid. Mississippi state won the regular season title and is the SEC Champion, not Texas A&M.
Yea…Florida and A&M were playing today in the conference tourney. Florida has been the better team all year so I projected them as conference champs.

confernce champ is regular season, not tournament. also, in case you forgot MississippI State beat Florida twice in Gainesville. and yes I know they lost in the tournament. ando A&M won the tourney 12-5. also you are giving the 7th place team a national seed over 5th and first place regular season teams. Also MSU beats Ole Miss 3 out of 4 this season.
I know I’m late but I TOLD YOU SO. ???
Surely A&M is now the National number 1 seed, right? How can they not be?
Duke finished up 12-3 last 15 games..Series wins over Clemson,GTech&Florida St…Also beat Cal(when top 15 )Big Ten Champ Ohio St..First time in 55yrs…Are they in?
Absolutely, I think Duke resume is miles better than Boston College especially OOC.
It is better…North Carolina is 8-7 last 15 games..They beat Duke(highest r.p.i)Pitt,Notre Dame&Virginia Tech..B.C I believe may come up short…Carolina should not get in…No conference Tourney,Barely 500 last 15…Thnx……….
Excuse me, but…umm…IOWA?!?!?!
We had Iowa winning the big ten title today which of course they didn’t do

[…] Baseball Daily CBD’s latest bracket was released today, and they have the Rams as a four seed heading to Louisiana-Lafayette as part of their projected […]
Miss St will be top 8 seed as they won the SEC. Ole Miss 5? they wont even be top 8 nor will USC. Tx Tch will likely get it. You guys are pretty terrible at this.
