Strike Two: Mustangs shut out (13) UC Santa Barbara
Cal Poly’s Kyle Smith and Justin Bruihl combined for a two-hit shutout against the Gauchos Friday, as the Mustangs cruised to a 7-0 victory. Cal Poly now moves to 5-2 in Big West play, and the teams are now tied for second place in the conference standings behind Cal State Fullerton. Cal Poly right fielder John Schuknect led the Mustangs hitters with two hits and three RBIs. Cal Poly has now won four-straight games.
Strike Three: Taccolini goes the distance…and then some
