SienaCelebrationStrike One: Struggling Siena

Siena has now lost all 10 games they’ve played this season. Among those 10 losses, the Saints have allowed 10-plus runs in seven of those games. Sunday was a rough day for Siena, as the Saints allowed Morehead State to scored 24 runs in yesterday’s loss.

Strike Two: Wolfpack warming up

Since losing the first game of their series against Wright State, North Carolina State has won seven-straight games. In that span, the Wolfpack have outscored their opponents by a total of 41-15.

Strike Three: Cal sweeps Texas

This weekend was a big one for the Bears, as they took all four games in a series against Texas. Sunday’s game provided a dramatic finish, with Cal scoring three runs in the top of the eleventh to cap off the four-game sweep. Cal improves to 9-3 on the season, and the Longhorns drop to 5-7. Things don’t get easier for Texas, as they travel to UCLA for a series against the Bruins this upcoming weekend.
