PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania baseball team released its 2016 schedule in preparation for the spring season. The Quakers will open up the year in Jacksonville, Florida with three games against North Florida beginning on March 4.
Penn will remain in the sunshine state for the rest of the week, taking on Holy Cross in a pair of games on March 8-9, before concluding with three games against Georgetown on March 11-13, in Port St. Lucie.
The Quakers open up their home slate on March 19-20, with two doubleheaders against Binghamton.
Villanova makes its way to Meiklejohn Stadium on March 29, to kick off the Liberty Bell Classic, with the Championship of the eight-team tournament being played at Citizens Bank Park.
Penn opens up its Ivy Schedule on April 2, when Brown heads to Philadelphia for a doubleheader.
The Quakers will wrap up the regular season on May 1, in New York with a doubleheader against Columbia.
