CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball announced a 55-game schedule on Friday, complete with 20 home games and a challenging non-conference schedule featuring seven 2015 NCAA Tournament teams.
FIRST PITCH
• First pitch of the 2016 season comes on Friday, February 19 at 4:30 p.m. in Tempe, Ariz. when the Musketeers visit Arizona State to begin non-conference action.
ROAD WARRIORS
• The Musketeers play their first 14 games on the road before welcoming local rival Miami (OH) to Hayden Field for the 2016 home opener on Wednesday, March 16 at 3:00 p.m.
• Xavier travels to eight states total as part of its 2016 regular season schedule, including Arizona, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana and New Jersey. The Musketeers also play in Washington, D.C.
