The 2016 slate features 23 games against NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago, and 29 contests played at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park.

The Demon Deacons take on 2015 College World Series champions Virginia, as well as Super Regional qualifiers Louisville and Florida State.

Wake Forest’s ACC series include Clemson (March 11-13), Duke (March 25-27), Florida State (Apr. 15-17), North Carolina (Apr. 22-24) and Louisville (May 19-21) at home, as well as Virginia (March 18-20), Notre Dame (Apr. 1-3), NC State (Apr. 8-10), Boston College (May 6-8) and Virginia Tech (May 13-15) on the road.

The only three-game nonconference series on the schedule is a trip to Southern Cal (Feb. 26-28).

Wake Forest opens the season with a home tournament (Feb. 19-21), with games scheduled against Georgetown, UMBC and VMI.

The Deacs also play home games on five consecutive days from March 2-6, taking on Mount St. Mary’s, Saint Peter’s, Towson, Harvard and Richmond.

Wake Forest continues area rivalries, with home-and-homes scheduled against Davidson, High Point, Charlotte, Elon, UNCG and Appalachian State.

Additionally, Wake Forest travels to Coastal Carolina for a pair of midweek games, and Marshall for a late-season single game.

In 2014, Wake Forest finished with a 27-26 overall record and 12-18 mark in ACC play.
