The Pacific Tigers baseball schedule is out, with the Tigers opening their home schedule on Friday, February 26 against Northwestern, the first of a four-game series against the Wildcats. Pacific will also host Northern Colorado, South Dakota State, Nevada, Fresno State, Sacramento State, San Jose State, and UC Davis in their non-conference schedule. Conference play for Pacific begins on March 17 when the Tigers head on the road for a three-game series against BYU. Their first home conference game will be April 1 against Gonzaga.
The Tigers return 21 players who appeared last season, including two of the top three hitters by batting average from last year in Louis Mejia and Gio Brusa. Will Lydon and Jake Jenkins, Pacific’s innings pitched leaders from last season, are also back, with Jenkins having also led the Tigers in wins.
