Two Florida Pitchers Arrested and Charged with a Felony

FloridaLogo_thumb.jpgSophomore Florida Gators pitchers Sophomores A.J. Puk and Kirby Snead were arrested and charged with a third degree felony on Sunday evening. The players went into a construction area and climbed up a crane without legal authority. They were arrested at 11:43 p.m. Sunday while being booked at 1:08 a.m. in Alachua County Jail and currently remain there waiting to appear before a judge Monday morning to receive their bond amount.

Puk leads the Gators with six wins on the year after pitching in the Gators 12-5 victory over South Carolina while Snead has made 13 appearances in relief.
