San Diego State to name Mark Martinez as Head Coach

SDSULogoCollege Baseball Daily has learned that San Diego State will announce later today that Executive Head Coach Mark Martinez will be named the head coach of the Aztec program. Martinez will take over the Aztec program after the death of former head coach Tony Gwynn.

The Aztecs made the 2014 NCAA Tournament with a 42-21 campaign but went a disappointing 0-2 in the Lafayette, Louisiana regional.
