OMAHA—The game times and pairings for the first two days of the Men’s College World Series have been announced. The 68th MCWS will take place at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha from June 14-24/25.
The first game on Saturday is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. (CT), and will see UC Irvine (40-23) play against Texas (43-19). Saturday’s second game features Louisville (50-15) against Vanderbilt (46-19), and is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (CT)
The doubleheader on Sunday features Texas Tech (45-19) vs. the winner of the Pepperdine/No. 7 national seed TCU Super Regional at 2 p.m. (CT). In the evening game starting at 7 p.m. (CT), the winner of the Maryland/No. 3 national seed Virginia Super Regional will be squaring off against the winner of the Ole Miss/No. 6 national seed Louisiana-Lafayette Super Regional.
The losers of Saturday’s two games will play one another at 2 p.m. (CT) on Monday, while Saturday’s winners face off at 7 p.m. (CT) Monday. The losers of Sunday’s games will play each other at 2 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, while Sunday’s winners meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. (CT)
The winners of the two brackets will play a best-of-three championship finals (CWS Finals), with the first game set for 7 p.m. (CT) on Monday, June 23. The second game is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, June 24, while the third and deciding game (if necessary) is slated for 7 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, June 25.
